How TV displays colors on the screen ?

TV is the most exciting electronic item I would ever want to know about. Yes !I mean the same TeleVision. We used to have a Color BPL TV when I was a kid. I used think of it how come we can see people on the screen. The funniest thing is I & my sister always checks the back side of the TV to see if some one is there. But we couldn't find any one. Later when I grew up I could observe there is satellite connection back side of the TV. Then I thought we are receiving signals from that cable.

But when I joined my BTech in Electronics & Communication I knew the complete story of a TV. Yes, It was my dream to become an Engineer. Now I can proudly say that I am an engineer. We used to have a subject on TV thats - TV Engineering. When first look at the syllabus of this subject, I think of my childhood days. Okay funny things apart.

I still remember the day we were learning about TV Engineering and how TV display as picture. Its all combination of R-G-B that is Red -Blue -Green. Yes, all the colors we see on TV are the combination of RGB. The amount of color combination makes a new color. These value varies from 0-255. There would be a CRT - Cathode Ray Tube, which inside displays the light but when that light falls on back side of the TV screen it will be adjusted according to display the required color transmitted through the cable with the combination of RGB -from 0-255.

Huhh..Its a big story of-course.. But it was very interesting in my first class. More stories in my suture posts.
