Phases in SAP implementation


There are different phases in SAP implementation such as requirements gathering , gap analysis , blue print design , configuration , unit testing , functional unit testing , technical unit testing , integration testing , scripts preparation , end user trading cut over activities ,other pre go live activities , and go live activities. All these phases play the major role in the successful implementation of SAP module. A functional analyst the design of the current business requirement and does the gap analysis.
When it comes to blue print design the functional guy ensures that the proper design in place for further implemantion.He is precautious about delivering the package and makes sure everything goes well accordingly.
The over allay design is manages by the project manager and the PM is responsible for a successful delivery of an implementation. When it comes to realization phase, a team member or a lead can perform the whole configuration and interact with technical team, who develops the FRICE objects,

ABAP development in SAP applications


ABAP coding is used to develop SAP functional applications to support the enterprise business process.ABAP coding includes developing the FRICE objects such as Forms , Reports , Interfaces , conversions and Enhancements as required by the business.A functional consultant initially analyses the requirement of the business and work with thye end users or business team and come up with an osculate solutions .He initially does the gap analysis and work with thye super users and train them how SAP supports their existing functionalities. Thus the functional person initially interacts with business and conduct meetings and business workshops with the core or business team.
In the next step the functional guy designs a draft solution which could a Blue print and review the blue print with core team as well as business users. Once it is approved he/she will come up with a final Blueprint version which would be used for further design and configuration. There are about deferent phases in implementation such as realization, testing, pre go live and post go live activities.
